Children's Book: The Strange Friend by Nadav ShamMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
A very sweet story with a great message for children. A giraffe tries to make friends but feels sad when she isn't accepted by the other animals. Children learn a wonderful lesson about acceptance. The best line of the story is "now I see that myself is the best kind of person to be.” The rhyming is good and the illustrations are bright and colorful. This book will be a great addition to evening read-a-loud times for families.
