  1. Very cute. I will have to share this with my son and his fiancé. They work daily with international students. One thing I have noticed is that english speakers tend to be wired to understand a phrase even when there are multiple mispronunciations and improper inflections used. On the other hand, their Chinese friends are completely stumped over the slightest inflection error used in their language. They find it difficult to make connections even with context. They have a humorous series of questions that illustrate the difference in east vs west thinking. I wish I could remember it but all I can recall is that it involves a chicken.
